This photograph was created in early winter while walking through a forest on Luonnonmaa. As sunlight filtered low through the trees, fine particles — frost, snow, or dust — began to drift slowly through the air. The moment was subtle and fleeting, visible only for a brief time.

Beneath the falling light stood a young pine, resilient and calm. Surrounded by shadow, it appeared momentarily suspended — small, yet unwavering. The forest was silent, and the light held the scene together just long enough to be witnessed.

Held by Light captures a moment of quiet presence and fragile strength. It reflects how even the smallest forms can endure when light, time, and stillness briefly align.
